We are looking for a motivated and reliable person interested in becoming an owner-driver.

An opportunity is available to purchase a complete truck and trailer combination, with ongoing work opportunities through our established contracting business.

TRUCK & TRAILER

* 2015 Freightliner Argosy
* Detroit DD15 engine
* 5-axle Domett tipper trailer
* Approximately 32-tonne payload
* Complete working combination

WORK OPPORTUNITY

The Mulcher Man Ltd has established cartage requirements throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

We will provide as much work as we can to help keep the truck busy.

Work will be offered on an agreed load-rate or kilometre-rate basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to run their own truck while working alongside an established business.

LABOURER WANTED – THE MULCHER MAN LTD

We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Labourer to join our mulching crew.

The role involves working alongside our large mobile mulching equipment at various sites around the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

The job will include:
• General labouring and site duties
• Helping set up and pack down the mulcher
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy
• Assisting with basic maintenance and daily checks
• Helping with hoses, dust suppression and site safety
• Working around loaders, trucks and heavy machinery

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is reliable and turns up on time
• Is physically fit and not afraid of hard work
• Has a good attitude and can work as part of a small team
• Is safety conscious around heavy machinery
• Can work away from home when required
• Has a full driver licence — Class 2 or higher would be an advantage
• Machinery or mechanical experience would be an advantage, but isn’t essential for the right person

Hours can vary depending on the job and location, so some early starts and longer days will be required.

Good pay for the right person.

This is an opportunity to get involved with a busy contracting company and learn to work around specialised mulching and heavy equipment.

This is away work, so you will need to be able to stay away from home when required.

We are after someone who:
• Has a good attitude
• Is reliable and hardworking
• Keen to learn
• Can work well in a team
• Machinery experience is a bonus but not essential
