💚 We’re proud to support our local community as a Silver Community Partner of Urban Miners - Waipa E-Waste Recyclers.
It’s great to be backing a service that helps keep e-waste out of landfill and makes responsible recycling accessible to the Waipā community.
We’re looking forward to supporting the team over the next three years and helping make a difference right here in our community. ♻️🙌
📣 Welcome aboard, Treadlite!
We're thrilled to announce our very first Silver Community Partner: Treadlite Tyre Recycling , a Cambridge business that knows a thing or two about keeping waste out of landfill.
Treadlite turns end-of-life tyres into premium New Zealand-made products like equestrian arena surfaces and rubber granules for playgrounds and sports fields. Every year more than 7.75 million tyres reach the end of the road in NZ, and Treadlite is on a mission to make them useful again. Now they're making sure their e-waste gets the same treatment ♻️
As a Silver partner, Treadlite's contribution helps cover the cost of collecting, sorting, repairing and responsibly recycling e-waste right across Waipā, and keeps our service accessible to the whole community.
And that's not all. Not only has Treadlite committed to three years as a Silver community partner, they had already also kindly contributed towards the cost of our new security system, helping us keep our site, our volunteers and all that valuable e-waste safe. Thank you, team! 🙌
