Settling in NZ

Settling in NZ Reasonably priced a home away from home! We offer furnished room and bathroom, shared meals Newly arrived, nowhere to go, alone. Both rooms are fully furnished.

We (hubby and I and our 2 Jack Russell furchildren) live in East Auckland, and we have one single room and one double room that we rent out on a short term basis for Saffies (South Africans) in transition. Here to start working with their families to follow, some in a few weeks, a month later or two months later. There is wifi, data uncapped so you can Skype home. Sky basic on telly in the lounge.

The two rooms share a full bathroom and toilet, a fridge freezer with one shelf in the kitchen cupboard. Access to a washing machine and a dryer although we prefer you to use the washing line. No overalls in the washing machine please. The rate excludes food though we do share meals and outings especially over the weekend. We prefer non-smokers. You are also expected to take turns cleaning the bathroom, toilet and your room(s), and the kitchen should also be tidy and clean. You supply your own toilet paper, washing powder, sta soft / consumables. Any questions, let me know.

Woohoo we have officially made it through Monday everyone! If that’s not a reason to smile then we don’t know what it is 😆
Just a friendly reminder Butterfly Creek is closed to the public Mondays and Tuesdays during term time and open from Wednesday to Sunday. We can’t wait to see you all then 🥳🥳🥳

When we lived in South Africa, we would have loved the freedom of living on a farm with its wide open spaces and no white noise. Finally, even though we are renting, we can do this in New Zealand ❤

Love to see this happen in New Zealand! ❤
