Big congratulations to Kylie Dorr from Southern Reproductive on taking out the **Emerging Enterprise Award** at the **NZI Rural Women Business Awards**.
A very well-deserved recognition.
I have known Kylie since her early twenties, when we were both living in America, and have had the pleasure of working with her on and off over the years — including now, as she continues to develop some very exciting new opportunities in agricultural and veterinary technology.
Working with Kylie is a bit like working with a rocket ship — in the best possible way. She is intelligent, entrepreneurial, driven, incredibly capable, and, just as importantly, a genuinely good person.
Through Southern Reproductive, Kylie is building something special from Tapanui, Otago — delivering on-farm reproductive services, training, technology, and innovation into the rural sector.
This award is a great acknowledgement of the energy, courage and vision she brings to rural business in New Zealand.
Well done Kylie — thoroughly deserved. I’m really proud to see your hard work being recognised.
