Did you know?

Our founder, Sharon Blanchard’s Leadership Development business is an approved service provider through the Mackenzie Business Support Package (MBSP), recently announced. This program is open to all businesses across the Mackenzie District.

How it works: under the MBSP, the Mackenzie District Council will co-fund 50% of the work of a provider such as myself, or other approved professionals, up to a maximum of $2,500 + GST contribution, for qualifying projects.

What can PLI offer under this program?
We can provide eligible businesses one-on-one leadership development sessions or participation in my upcoming retreats. Both have been approved through this program. More information on the retreats and my leadership development work can be found here:

https://www.principledleadership.org.nz/

Raewyn Bell is a fantastic first point of contact with the South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce or reach out to Sharon directly. She’d love to discuss her leadership development approach and how to support you and your Mackenzie business.

Humbled by the amazing coverage by Seven Sharp tonight. Have to say, we really loved the still on our Sweet Moos sign at the end of the segment!
In all seriousness tho’, we are grateful for the opportunity to have been able to do something exceptionally special. In a short period of time, IncuHub Twizel became a community comprised of dedicated and amazing volunteers, generous supporters, and courageous friends who journeyed along with us!
Here’s to getting through these times together. Because together, we are better. Together, we are stronger.

Four small- to medium-sized businesses will have the chance to win $50,000.

It’s hard to believe we opened our Sweet Moos | IncuHub doors to the community three months ago. In this time, our robust team continued to help individuals and bring our community together as we navigate these precarious days. Over the last few weeks we've heard from community members that they 'secured a job, received an interview, or had success with their cover letter'. It is truly humbling to experience their success.

During our launch on June 4, I remember sharing that if we were able to help just one person during this three-month period, then that will be “a sign of our success”. With over 320 individuals using the space in some capacity, it has been confirming that this endeavor has been useful. Is our story over? Well, the doors closed on Friday and we await the adjudication of our application to the Community Capability & Resiliency fund. So keep an eye out, (maybe say a few prayers). If we are successful, the IncuHub doors will re-open for one year in October.

A big thanks to our incredible team of volunteers who consistently gave their time, experience, skills, and heart. I wholeheartedly believe that it takes a community to raise a child, and this new endeavor has been thoroughly nourished and sustained. To our sponsors and key supporters listed below, we couldn’t have done this without you, your intuitive and instant belief and commitment was incredible, they are:
Mackenzie District Council
Twizel Community Board
Twizel Library
Twizel Promotions
Twizel Community Care Centre
Wi******er Trust Foundation
Principled Leadership Institute
Sweet Moos Ice Cream Parlour

Warmest regards and stay safe,
