If you’re into puzzles or just looking for an excuse to spend more time in the shed/garage, we present this classic 1984 Hamilton 141 in “kitset” form.

Proper old-school Kiwi jet boat setup — Hamilton 773 jet unit, Ford 302 in pieces for rebuild, and a heap of good gear included. Hull is a solid base for its age, but it’s definitely a project… not a runner (unless you count “vroom vroom” noises as propulsion).

Perfect cheap entry into jet boating with plenty of potential for someone keen on a project, or someone who enjoys spending weekends explaining to their partner that “it’s nearly going” for the 47th time.

Jet boat project (or excellent donor) just listed on Trade Me 🚤

1995 Hamilton 151G with Lexus 4.0L V8 engine & 772 jet unit.
Unfortunately the hull has serious damage, so it currently floats about as well as a brick.

Still plenty of good bits though — engine, jet unit, manifolds, gauges, new starter, new fuel tank, trailer, cover.

Perfect if you need parts… or another project your partner doesn’t know about yet.
