BUILDING INSPECTOR WANTED - SEEKING A QUALIFIED TRADESMAN IN THE MANAWATU/RANGITIKEI AREA.
Are you looking to get off the tools and into building inspections?
Due to an increased workload, CheckHome is seeking a new building inspector to join the team!

This will be an independent contractor role.

You will need to be proactive, driven and confidently be able to demonstrate and apply key skills and knowledge as a building inspector. You must have some sales, client project management or business development experience for this role.

What we are looking for:
- Must be a NZ qualified builder or engineer
- 8+ years of local building experience
- Current driver’s license
- High standard of verbal and written communication
- Computer skills (training will be provided)
- Good knowledge of the building code, duties and responsibilities
- Complete inspections to a high quality standard
- Provide regulatory advice to customers
- Experience dealing with clients
- Goal focused

• As Building Inspector, you will be completing a variety of different inspections which includes all aspects of structural soundness, workmanship and the overall condition of the property.
• Reports are completed within 24hrs from when the inspection takes place.
• Reporting has been made easier by using a software system that reduces the time writing reports, giving you more time for the things you enjoy.
• Some reports that are covered are, Pre Purchase, Pre Sale, Maintenance, just to name a few. A full range of inspections that we cover are located on our website, www.checkhome.co.nz.
