The most common mistakes when trying to scale a business include:

Scaling too quickly without proper planning or resources in place. Many entrepreneurs try to grow too fast before they have the systems, processes, and financial stability to support expansion.

Underestimating the financial requirements of scaling. Scaling requires significant investment in things like hiring, equipment, marketing, etc. Not having enough capital can lead to cash flow issues.

Hiring the wrong people or hiring too quickly. Bringing on staff before you really need them or hiring people who aren't a good fit can drain resources.

Neglecting core customers/business while pursuing growth. It's important not to lose focus on what made the business successful in the first place.

Everyone has their journey in life!

Some have no direction, some are super focused on their direction - so much so, that they feel they have arrived before they even depart.

A simple observation about the journey of life:

It pays to embrace mistakes early on.

Knowing your ultimate destination will help you be much better prepared than relying on what the next day brings.

Admitting failure is uncomfortable.

Accepting responsibility for everything you do is uncomfortable.

Being wrong is uncomfortable.

When you've worked through being uncomfortable and gotten to know your current enemy, you can start to experiment with moving the boundaries of that comfort zone.

The journey becomes a lot easier when you learn to move the boundaries.
