The team at Flagstaff Recruitment Limited (NZ) are currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced contract Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME`s) to support our customers Aircraft Maintenance commitments in Marlborough, New Zealand in the following trades:
Mechanical
Structures
Composites
This is an ongoing contract in Blenheim (NZ) and at this time is set to continue through to December 2022 with a high possibility of continued work in the early part(s) of 2023.
Where required, accommodation and transport will be provided. For these contract AME positions Flagstaff Recruitment are offering a very competitive remuneration package.
The Role.
As an AME, you will undertake aircraft scheduled maintenance and or workshop tasks as required. A degree of flexibility will be necessary in your approach to the working day / week as you may be deployed to work in the different maintenance areas of the customer`s facility.
About you.
Your previous heavy / scheduled maintenance experience with large, fixed wing Aircraft Turboprop Aircraft and or rotary Aircraft would be advantageous but primarily your attitude and aptitude in the workplace will play a key part in being successful in your selection for this contract position.
To be considered for this role you must be able to fulfill the following requirements:
Appropriate trade qualifications and experience. (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent)
Experience in heavy / scheduled / maintenance of large, fixed wing turboprop and rotary Aircraft.
Be willing to participate in the customer mandatory vetting process which includes, but is not limited to, Police checks, medical assessment and drug and alcohol testing.
Be of suitable nationality to ascertain a New Zealand Defence Site clearance. (https://buff.ly/3AHBUTa)
Ability to work as part of a functional professional engineering team.
Comply with Flagstaff`s and the customer`s Health and Safety policies and processes.
