Hosted by Leadership Lab and Christchurch City Council, the Leaders for Equity Network is a growing movement of people committed to creating a more equitable Aotearoa through courageous leadership, meaningful relationships, and collective action.
In true unconference style, participants shape the agenda by proposing and voting on the conversations that matter most.
Together we'll explore questions such as:

✨ What does belonging look like in practice?
✨ How do we lead for equity in increasingly diverse communities?
✨ What role does Te Tiriti o Waitangi play in shaping our future?
✨ How do we move from conversation to meaningful action?
New for 2026: Do-Labs
This year, the conversation doesn't end when the event finishes. We'll launch Do-Labs, small action-learning groups that will continue meeting throughout the year to experiment, collaborate, and take practical action on the challenges that matter most.
Whether you work in community development, education, local or central government, health, philanthropy, business, iwi, the arts, housing, climate, youth development, or systems change, we'd love to have you in the room.
