And somehow we're at the end of another year! 2025 has flown by and it's lovely to take a moment to pause and reflect on the year just passed, and to say thank you to everyone reading this post, from clients and partners to suppliers and old friends, for your support. It's been a year of growth, learning and relationships.

As we stepped into the second year of running the business, the team have loved the projects they've had the opportunity to collaborate on. From coaching & mentoring to supporting grant programmes, from strategies to stakeholder interviews; connecting with our clients is the lifeblood that keeps us thriving. We've enjoyed spending time together as consultants as well, discussing how to support the sector and continue to help those who do good in the world to achieve their fundraising goals.

2026 is a year of promise and we look forward to continuing our journey walking alongside Aotearoa's for purpose sector. But in the meantime, prioritising work-life balance is important so we can bring the happiest, healthiest versions of ourselves to work, and we are looking forward to spending the festive holiday with loved ones. We close our offices Friday 19th December and will be back on Monday 12th January. Wishing you a relaxing and restful Christmas break.

What a lovely treat for three of our consultants to connect yesterday over a coffee. As consultants, our primary focus is working with our clients and helping them to solve their big challenges, but behind the scenes we are all one big team, supporting each other and offering advice and perspective. It can be really lovely every now and then to step back from the formality of meetings and just go for a coffee and have a natter.

We’ve loved collaborating with the team at Amnesty International New Zealand for the past few months on creating their gifts in Wills strategy. As with all great fundraising, the key to success has been integration and collaboration, and this passionate team of people have worked together to create a best in class programme. Yesterday we had the pleasure of presenting our final roadmap to the team at their new HQ and taking a celebration photo to toast the end of this exciting project. A big thank you to everyone involved in this brilliant piece of work.
