My name is Paul Duncan, I've been a chef for a little over 10 years taking me all over the country from the wild West Coast, Taupo, and of course here in Canterbury. My cooking style is modern Asian/European cuisine, focusing on the freshest local ingredients. After the tragedy of the February earthquake I started doing home dinners for family & friends to fill in time & cheer people up a little.
After a lot of encouragement I have started to branch out and deliver restaurant dining experiences for people in their own homes. In Asian cooking the philosophy in each dish is to create the balance of sweet, sour, salty & hot to create the perfect "harmony" of flavours. This is my focus for the menu's I've created for the perfect evening in your home. You get to create your own 2-3 course meal from the menu items I've provided, with the option of having canapes for a start while you mingle with your guests. There is also the option of having fusion cocktails with your canapes, and wine matches with your dishes. As part of the deal I'll set up the dining table, provide all the cutlery & dinnerware if needed, and my own cooking equipment. I can also provide a waiter/waitress to serve so you can relax. To top it off I will do all the dishes & leave your kitchen nice & tidy. No mess no stress! I strive for excellence and look forward to entertaining in your home.
