I have to apologise to the Kids Market held at the Rolleston Community Centre yesterday, as I was supposed to provide coffee for the event from 1pm to 3pm. I parked in the same spot as I did last week, and in the same spot that other coffee vendors have parked, only to be asked by one of the staff at the centre, "Why did I park there, and I can't park there!". I asked her to inform the organiser that she had sent me away, as when you are confronted by a per son like that, there is no point to discuss anything further.

However, I did notice that a car parked in a disability car park without a display card, and this person was not challenged.

The point, just be consistent in your approach to parking and there should be some leniency for community events.
