One sensor can be fooled. Two independent technologies working in agreement cannot.

Heat, airflow and vibration are facts of the job in plant rooms, corridors and industrial spaces. That's where single-tech detectors turn into a callback waiting to happen.

The DSC Neo PG4984P is a 433MHz PowerG wireless dual technology detector built for exactly those sites.

It sends an alarm signal only after both the PIR and the K-band microwave sensors have independently confirmed motion. Two confirmations before anything triggers, so single-stimulus false events don't make it to the panel.

Here's the spec breakdown installers need:

✅ Dual Tech PIR + K-band microwave, both must confirm before an alarm is raised

✅ 15m coverage at 90° for exposed corridors, plant rooms and open commercial spaces

✅ PET immunity rated to 18kg, no sensitivity adjustment required

✅ Vandal-resistant housing for the spots where a single-tech detector is already a compromise

✅ Visible link quality indicator to confirm signal strength at the mounting point, no trip back to the panel

✅ 1x CR123A lithium cell, 5-year rated life, so routine service visits drop out of the total cost

Dual confirmation, 15m coverage, 5-year battery. Spec it once and move on.

Find the PG4984P in the PowerG wireless range at SWL. 🔒

While inserting the alarm, does the system warn me of any open window or any operating anomaly❓

Yes, it does. In case of insertion alarm, the system warns the user of an open window or door or of an anomaly such as a low battery device. The user can choose the option to force the insertion.

Thirty-two zones of coverage. One board that never asks to be replaced.

The DSC PowerSeries Neo HS2032 is a PCB-only panel that scales from 8 to 32 zones on a single board. Scope grows on site and the panel keeps pace, no hardware swap at the core.

Here's what earns it a place at the centre of the system:

✅ 8 to 32 zones on one PCB, so the panel grows with the commission instead of against it

✅ PowerG wireless backbone that substantially reduces false alarms and the site callbacks they generate

✅ Long-range PowerG transmission for repeater-free installs across a wider range of building footprints

✅ Native integration with DSC interactive monitoring and smart control, no extra hardware at the core

✅ Customisation handled at the device level, so the board stays seated while peripherals are tailored to each site

That's the case for building around it: predictable operating costs across the life of the install, and a core that doesn't get in the way when the brief changes.

Shop the DSC PowerSeries Neo HS2032 at SWL.

Spec the wrong outdoor 4G router and you're booking a site revisit before the ink dries on the invoice.

For rural CCTV sites, three specs decide whether the install runs clean or eats your margin.

Antenna gain
A 5dBi indoor omni and a 19dBi directional dish are not the same job. One reaches the tower. The other leaves you troubleshooting a dead link from the ground.

LTE category
CAT4 caps at 150Mbps shared. CAT6 doubles that to 300Mbps, giving you the headroom a multi-camera NVR actually needs.

IP rating
IP65 is dust-tight and jet-proof. Anything less risks condensation on a site you won't revisit for months.

Match the hardware to the site before you order. The Wi-Tek WI-LTE113-O V2 hits all three. 🔐
