I love long weekends, especially when they are warm and sunny.☀️💛
Attending our local community ANZAC Day service always brings a quiet kind of reflection, a reminder of sacrifice, perspective, and what truly matters.
I was 22 years old when I walked the Gallipoli beach, it was an incredibly emotional experience.
Young men buried there, many my own age or younger, now our son is that age - 22.
The rest of the weekend was spent recharging in the garden🪴, tidying up, planting🌱and getting it winter ready.
This got me thinking. 🤔
Growth whether it’s a garden, a career or a business... it doesn’t happen by accident.
It intentional.
It requires patience.
And sometimes it takes courage to pull out what’s no longer doing well to create space for something better.
I see so many people staying stuck in roles that drain them, not because they lack capability, but because they haven’t paused long enough to ask themselves what they really want.
Maybe that’s what long weekends like this are for.
Not just rest… but realignment.
A moment to pause and ask:
👉 Is what I’m building where I want to be?
I’m curious… did you get a moment to pause this weekend and contemplate that next step?
