Let’s take a moment to appreciate our four-legged crew.

As Rudi likes to call them, our “livestock”.

Always on vineyard patrol, keeping an eye on the vines, supervising the team, chasing a few birds, and generally making sure nothing too serious happens without them.

They may not know much about biodynamics, but they certainly know how to enjoy life at Quartz Reef.

We love a good collaboration, especially when it brings together two brands that share a love for craftsmanship, character and timeless style.

Our w**es from Central Otago, New Zealand, alongside the beautifully considered bags by Deadly Ponies. Different worlds, perhaps, but a shared appreciation for quality, thoughtful design and the beauty of doing things a little differently.

One is made to be savoured, the other made to be carried. Both designed to leave an impression.

We’re teaming up with for our annual W**e & Pie event, matching some of our favourite Quartz Reef w**es with seriously good pies.

Expect great w**e, great food and a few fun rock ’n’ roll pairings along the way. Because w**e and pie just make sense.

Meet our Pinot Rosé 2026, and our very first 2026 release. Pretty exciting, isn’t it?

Fresh, vibrant and made for those warmer days just around the corner. After a cool, wet spring and a long, patient growing season, we’re pretty happy to finally let this one out into the world.

Have you been to our humble little cellar door in Cromwell?

Nothing flash. No fancy fit-out. Just good w**e, good stories and a genuine taste of what we do at Quartz Reef.

Here, you can slow down, taste through our w**es and experience the honest, hands-on w**emaking we’ve practised for more than 25 years.

From our certified organic and biodynamic vineyards in Bendigo to your glass, we keep things pretty simple: let the vineyard do the talking, make the w**e with care, and share it with good people.

Come and see us at our little corner of Cromwell. We’d love to pour you a taste of our w**es and talk you through it.

What a great evening at Organic W**e Week in Auckland last week!

A big thank you to everyone who came along, tasted our Quartz Reef w**es, and shared the evening with us.

It was fantastic to pour alongside so many amazing organic producers and celebrate the people, vineyards and w**es behind the growing organic w**e movement in New Zealand.

We loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new w**e lovers and sharing a little taste of Central Otago with you.

Thank you Auckland, and thank you to everyone who stopped by our table.
