Infinite Energy was delighted to attend the opening of the new Cromwell facility on 30 July 2026.

This new facility is the result of the tireless work of the committee – and has attracted support from many local Cromwell businesses and organisations.

Congratulations to Breen Construction Specialised Structures - The Breen Construction Company LtdStructures for delivering a stunning new home for the Menzshed.

Infinite Energy is proud to have made a financial contribution towards the installation of an amazing solar power & battery system for Menzshed.

The solar & battery system should see the Menzshed achieve ‘net zero’ power consumption for their new site.

What is included?
30 x 475W Phono Quasar Clear solar modules
12kW Sigenergy inverter
12.5kW Sigenergy DC EV charger – allowing bi-directional EV charging
18kWh Signenergy battery storage

This system is designed to cover the daily energy needs of the site, export surplus power to the local network – and to keep the lights on (and tools cranking) during a sustained power outage.

It’s a wonderful facility bringing so much to our community & the Menzshed membership and it’s a pleasure to have been able to support this initiative.

Bannockburn solar + battery install complete

We’ve recently completed a residential solar and battery installation in Bannockburn, Central Otago, delivering a future-ready system designed for performance and resilience.

System features:
• 15.3kW solar PV array
• 10kW inverter
• 16kWh battery storage

The system is designed to maximise self-consumption, reduce reliance on the grid, and provide reliable energy year-round in Central Otago conditions.

As we head into the Christmas break, we’re reflecting on a HUGE year 🎄☀️

In 2025, our team completed 171 installations, installed 4,001 solar panels, and delivered over 1.8 MW of solar, helping power homes, farms and businesses across Otago, Canterbury and Southland.

None of this would be possible without our incredible team — a hardworking group of legends who take pride in the quality of their work and the results they deliver.

Thank you to everyone who supported us this year. We wish you a safe, happy Christmas — and we’re already looking forward to what 2026 has in store, with more exciting projects, new technology and continued investment in our local communities.
