Wow! Got to capture these ladies mid swarm before they relocated to a nearby tree. Swarm control is a big job each season, removing newly formed queen cells to ensure sure the old queen bee doesn't take off with about 60% of the worker bees.

Look at all that pollen! Pollen is a superfood the bees gather for themselves, scraping the frames bare to collect honey weakens the hives and takes the stored pollen from the hive. Using our traditional methods ensures the honey we harvest is naturally pumped full of pollen, but leaves enough pollen behind to keep the hive nice and strong!
