We’ve been thoroughly enjoying the OWNZ Eco Vineyards Tour 🍇

Horticentre was proud to be part of the day’s activities with Hawke’s Bay Technical Field Advisor, Adam Fulford, and Customer Services Representative Aimee Taylor there to run the Weather Module. Aimee had the pleasure of presenting Maddi with the module prize.

Thank you to everyone - growers, suppliers and Horticentre staff - who made the annual Horticentre Hawke’s Bay Grower Bowling such a success again in 2026!

32 teams of four growers along with around 20 suppliers and Horticentre staff gathered at Kia Toa Bowling Club this month to celebrate another season.

Big thanks to our many suppliers who generously supported the day with a huge range of prizes, much appreciated.

Congratulations also goes to Awatea Jobe and Sirius Tamati Smith, who placed second and third respectively 👏

Last week, some of our vegetable sector experts, Shelley Bath, Rob Nichol, Chris Herries and Chris Lees, attended the LandWISE Soil Health for Profit Conference in Havelock North.

With support from The Horticentre Trust, LandWISE was able to bring international expertise to the event. It was a pleasure to host guest speaker Josh Wing, Senior Agronomist of and his wife Kylie at the Hawke’s Bay branch following the conference. Thank you for your time and insights, Josh! 🤝
