Broad Bay School

Last Tuesday we had a really fun and successful Athletics Day combined with Portobello School. It took place between the Portobello School field and the Portobello Domain, and tamariki got to take part in long jump, high jump, discus, shotput, hurdles, sprints and long distance! The weather was perfect (warm with some cloud cover to start - and a bit more heat by the end of the day!), and it was wonderful to see the two schools together for another fun day of activities. Once the events were over everyone was treated to a cold popsicle, and finished the day tired but happy 😊

It was such a busy day that photos were few and far between! Here are a few from our long jump practice down at Broad Bay Beach, and some happy runners from the day itself 😊

Kererū Club got off to a great start in Week 1 of Term 4, and the fun continues in weeks 2 & 3!

Having an after school club at Broad Bay School this year has been a wonderful addition to what we offer here, and we've loved seeing your tamariki get into the activities provided, and make (or reconnect with) new friends along the way😊

Happy holidays koutou 😊

We have had another wonderful term here at Broad Bay School, with so many fun and informative activities and events - it's been a busy 10 weeks!

We hope you have some special time together over the holidays, and the tamariki catch up on some rest after an exciting term.

Thank you to all whānau for your support and involvement over the term - it is always appreciated.
