Thank you for all the wonderful book donations so far - we are getting a nice collection! We will be accepting books right up until the 11th - if you have any to donate, please bring them to the Broad Bay School reception during school hours.

Last Friday we celebrated our amazing poets who placed in the Ōtepoti Youth Poetry competition - you may have read their poems in last week's newsletter.

The prizegiving was a very special afternoon of poetry, with an opportunity for those who placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd to read their poems to the audience.

A big thank you to whānau for coming along to support the tamariki, and to Samantha Montgomerie who put together a wonderful event.

We have lots of new and exciting seeds in the Broad Bay School seed library - fresh in today are: lettuce, magenta spreen, kale, silverbeet, spring onions, parsley, coriander, dill, beans and aquilegia. More to be added in the coming weeks! Come down and have a look...take what you need, leave what you can🌱😊
