Had a bunch of fun shooting with my team at BOTU Productions a couple of weeks ago. Here's a great wee casual one of some of the crew. And thanks to some great use of self timer and multi shot programming I was even able to get myself in front of the camera.

Well, another year has ended and another has begun. Thank you to everyone for their patronage in 2015 and for all those we collaborated with on various personal or portfolio projects. Of course there are huge special congratulations to our friend Miss World New Zealand, Deborah Lambie, who came 15th in the Miss World finals in China in December and later also became officially engaged to Dave Cameron - wonderful news on both counts, Deb. We are so proud of you and delighted for you both. Best wishes to a wonderful year ahead for everyone and we look forward to meeting your photography needs in 2016.

Today Miss World New Zealand, Deborah Lambie, wings her way to China to represent NZ in the Miss World finals. To commemorate this journey we dug back into our archives to showcase this rare gem of an image showing Deb competing in her first pageant back in 2011. It has been a long fabulous journey for Deb who since 2011 she has gone from strength to strength. In addition to being a pageant queen Deb is a medical doctor, co-founder of the charity LearnCoach, a keen advocate for health and education, and all-in-all a decent, genuine, hard-working, and humble individual. We are proud to have been a part of your journey Deb and we wish you all the best in the Miss World final.

Sometimes it's nice to get all glammed up, feel and look great, and step in front of the camera and feel like a Hollywood star. Aleisha, who is fighting in the ring for charity next month to raise money for the cancer society, stepped in front of the camera with us and then headed to the gym to train. Good on you, Aleisha.
