We don't often run specials, but we've got a beautiful opportunity we'd love to fill 🫶🏼

Arleen currently has space for a regular family to support through the winter months.

Sign up before 7th June for a minimum of 8 weekly or fortnightly support sessions across June, July and August 2026, and you'll receive $15 off every visit*. That's a total saving of $120, making one visit essentially free 💸

The best part? It's not really about the discount!

It's about having regular support booked in. Knowing someone is coming, knowing the washing, tidying, meal prep, light housework or whatever you need help with won't all fall on your shoulders 🙌🏼

If you've been thinking "I could really use a hand" this is your sign..

Pop us a message and let's chat! 🧡

*First in first served. Previous clients can apply for this deal if you'd like to return to regular support. If you end up booking for more than 8 sessions, this pricing sticks with you until the last session of 2026. No need to pay total cost upfront, payment on day of sessions via bank transfer is how we accept regular clients payments.

So thankful for the love that continues to pour in lately 🥹

It’s been a really tough couple of weeks navigating our new normal without Thea, but thanks to our village and many of you, it’s felt a little more manageable than it otherwise could have. It’s hard when what you'd usually do when emotions are scrambled, is hit a track with ya dog and soak up the goodness nature provides us with here in Dunedin, but said dog is no longer here to join.. looking forward to getting back on some tracks for my mental health when the time comes!

One thing I’ve been reflecting on though, is just how lucky we are to have the connections we do with the families we support regularly. The care goes both ways, and I’ll never take that for granted 🫶🏼

I’ve definitely been moving a little slower lately and overthinking whether my energy feels "off" sometimes.. years of hospo life means the customer service face can switch on automatically, but grief has a funny way of catching up with you once the day slows down.

Please believe me when I say this - if I’m in your home supporting your family, you are still getting my all, always. These couple of weeks have reminded me even more why support matters so much in every chapter of parenthood and life 🧡

This past week involved alot of tears, and that strange feeling of life continuing while our hearts are breaking 💔

Over this weekend though, I was reminded of something important - the little things matter ✨️

Getting dressed properly, watching the kids have fun at sports, hugs from people who love us! Being around people who make things feel normal for a moment.. none of it fixes grief of course, but it helps us feel a bit more human again.

It reminded me how postpartum can feel like this too sometimes. Not necessarily grief in the same way, but that feeling of losing parts of yourself while trying to find your groove again.

It's part of how Postpartmum was born and to be on such a massive recieving end of this support for the past week just nailed exactly why having a village is so important 🥹

Anyways, this is your reminder that small things and tiny comforts count. Even more so, SUPPORT MATTERS 👏🏼

Let yourself be held, no matter what season you are in, and let this be a sign to reach out or let some helping hands in 🧡

When we come across your feed and something strikes a chord 🥰

This family have a toddler, full time study and baby number two due in spring - reaching out to organise our helping hands for the end of their high risk pregnancy and postpartum!

"..even though I'm awful at asking for help" was in the same message also 🫣

We see this so often and we get it! Asking for help doesn’t always come naturally, especially when you’ve been used to doing it all yourselves already.

But this? This is such a beautiful step ✨️

We feel so lucky to be able to meet you in that space and make it feel that little bit easier..

PS. With the current financial climate, this is a reminder we accept Afterpay and also, for regular weekly/fortnightly supports booked, we accept bank transfers the week of your visits. Don't forget to mention gift vouchers for Postpartmum when people ask for gift ideas or how they can help!

Dunedin mummas, meet Arleen 🧡

A proud mum of three and long time Plunket volunteer, Arleen has seen both the beauty and the vulnerability of postpartum up close.

She loves to get creative in the kitchen, tackling those organisation jobs (you've had them on your list for how long now..?) and mostly importantly, she brings her warm energy, ready to support YOU 🫵🏽

✨️ We are so lucky to have her! Please give Arleen the warmest welcome 🥰 Our calendar is updated and ready for you!
