THE iD25 MODEL SEARCH IS ON



iD Dunedin Fashion Week is inviting all models to an open casting for the 2025 iD Dunedin Fashion Show. Models will walk in both the Emerging Designers and established designers’ sections of the show.

The next hallmark iD Dunedin Fashion Week will take place from 1 - 6 April 2025, including the iD Dunedin Fashion Show at the Dunedin Railway Station on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 April.

At the casting, aspiring models should wear plain fitted clothing and be prepared to be photographed, complete a brief form, and walk a short catwalk in front of the selection panel.

Models must be at least 16 years old.

Can all Aart models please let me know if you will be there, or if you can't let me know too. As will compile a comp card for you.

Zonta Extraordinary Fashion Show

We are currently looking for models to take part in the 2023 Zonta Extraordinary Fashion Show.

Show Day: Thursday 12 October, 4pm walk through then on to hair and makeup, show starts 7.30pm and will finish at approx. 10pm

Venue: MoreFM Arena, Edgar Centre

Participants: Includes Plume, Chapman, Company of Strangers, Charmaine Reveley, Belle Bird Boutique, Rembrandt and many more. Models will be modelling for around 4-6 participants each.

Fittings: To be confirmed but they will most likely be on Friday 6 and Monday 9 October (if these days don’t suit you can arrange a day that does with the designer / retailer)

Charity: K9 Medical Detection, will use the funds raised from the event to fund their programme in the detection of ovarian cancer in women and girls. Ovarian cancer is difficult to diagnose, often once a diagnosis has been made it is too late to be able to treat it. By utilising the K9 Medical Detection Programme a diagnosis will be able to be made earlier ensuring a more positive outcome to the diagnosis.

The show is produced by Zonta: Over the past twenty-three years Extraordinary Fashion has raised over $500,000 to fund programmes for women so that they may provide a better life for themselves and their families.

Payment: This is a charitable event with many suppliers and contractors giving up their time and services for the cause. Models are not paid for the show but Zonta will organise a small thank you gift of a $50 supermarket voucher.

Photos: Seen in Dunedin is the official event photographer so there will be plenty of images post show to use for your portfolios.
