Out with the old boiler, in with a heat pump. This diesel boiler had done its dash, so we replaced it with a Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan air-to-water heat pump — hydrobox and buffer tank inside, heat pump outside. Same radiators, same pipes, same warm house. Just a far more efficient way to heat the water, and no more fuel deliveries.
