Educators have expressed concern about ChatGPT but it could be a tool to help stressed and time-poor students.

Congratulations to A/Prof Diane Ruwhiu on her recent appointment as a Productivity Commissioner.

The New Zealand Productivity Commission Te Kōmihana Whai Hua o Aotearoa welcomes Dr Diane Ruwhiu (Ngāpuhi) as Commissioner. Dr Ruwhiu joins the commission from the faculty of the University of Otago, where she holds a number of strategic and leadership roles.

Congratulations Dana!

Congratulations to the Department of Management’s very own Dr Dana L. Ott for having received an Emerald Literati Outstanding Paper award alongside her co-author Marina Iskhakova.

Their paper investigates how working in culturally diverse teams influences team-level cultural intelligence (CQ) development and how this influences performance.

At the individual-level, CQ has been demonstrated to positively impact multicultural teams but team-level CQ has rarely been examined, making the paper a unique contribution to the body of knowledge.
