Outstanding three days in Sydney with Australia’s top wine distributor. Lots of wins thanks to a great team of area managers and venues open and willing to list Grasshopper Rock. A real pleasure to show three vintages of Grasshopper Rock. (2022, library release 2018 and the 10 year old 2016). Exciting times!

I have always liked the 2008 vintage. I just wish there were more bottles left. At 18 years this is so drinkable. Lovely balance, length, earthy, dried fruit, Christmas cake.

Lovely evening at the vineyard. 2026 vintage grapes looking great. Grapes just started to change colour now.

It’s been a warm November and flowering has started. One of the warmest Novembers only beaten by Nov 2010 and 2017. Typical afternoon southerly breeze cooling things done. Quite a feature at Grasshopper Rock and an influence on the character of our wine.
