The recent Tane Ora conference has catalyzed many positive activations out in the community. Different groups and organisations are finding their way to each other, prioritising time to spend in each others spaces and supporting joined up kaupapa.
Within the first two weeks post conference, so many of the concepts and ideas pitched up have been taking shape…This is the Tuna Ora team - in discovery phase of their idea, bringing Tane and Whānau together to learn eeling. Getting back to the taiao and being able to provide Kai to our Kaumatua and Whānau.
Huge mihi to Pakowhai Marae, Max, Joan, Johnny and Papa Dave for the time, matauranga and opportunity for connection.

Awesome Meka! It’s been a while since having listened to your ideas, hopes and aspirations about taking whakairo back home to Taranaki. It feels so good to see you living out your dreams.

Over the years we have been privileged to have had so many rangatahi apart of our Whānau. Seeing them become young adults, doing what they love and reaching many successes in life is a joy beyond measure 💖
