Tangles Hair Hokitika is looking for someone to join our team for two weeks of full-time work starting Monday 17 March, covering while one of our full-time team members is on leave.

We are seeking someone with a professional attitude, a happy disposition, and a willingness to work as part of a busy salon team.

Duties may include:
• Greeting clients and assisting with customer service
• Answering the telephone and managing bookings
• General salon tidying and presentation
• Shampooing clients (if you have the skills)
• Basic computer tasks

Field & Laboratory Technician:
Greymouth based with Verum Group

Verum Group Greymouth provides environmental and municipal water and wastewater sampling and testing for the Grey and Westland Districts. The Greymouth team is part of the wider Verum Group team who provide a range of environmental and analytical services.

The role:
The tight-knit Greymouth team are looking for a part-time fixed-term employee to help keep our business succeeding while one of the current team is on maternity leave. The position is for 3 – 4 days per week with small amounts of weekend work on a rostered
basis. The initial fixed term will be 12 months, but there may be opportunity to extend this.

If you enjoy a mix of getting out and about and office/laboratory work then this opportunity could be for you. The role would start with regular field sampling and testing rounds, then
extend into the subsequent laboratory processes. For the right candidate, it may grow to include sampling further afield in bush/industrial settings.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Sampling drinking and wastewater in the Grey District.
- Completing field and laboratory tests on water samples.
- Keeping the laboratory, office and vehicles in a fit and proper state.
- Accurately completing documentation.
- Taking an active role in Health and Safety.

Key personal requirements:
The role will suit someone who is:
- Reliable, able to work unsupervised.
- Mature and has a responsible attitude.
- Attentive to detail and can follow instructions to the letter.
- Interested in science, water or the environment.
- Comfortable with working outside in all weathers.
- Proud of a clean and tidy workspace.

You will need to reside in/near Greymouth and hold a NZ driver’s licence. We are open to candidates with a range of experience levels- full training in the role will be provided.
However, if you are already experienced in a laboratory setting or have a science background (chemistry or microbiology) this would be a great advantage. If you have experience or interest in occupational hygiene we would also be keen to hear from you.

An exciting Customer service / Sales support position has become available at Westpeak NZ.

Westpeak New Zealand is a growing company of around 20 team members, supplying branded work uniforms and PPE to large nationwide customers all around New Zealand.

A major portion of our sales are outside of the West Coast with a dispatch of 500+ parcels a week to customers all around NZ.

We have our own production team with multiple embroidery and printing machines in house.

We have a modern, purpose-built facility where you’ll work in a dynamic, high performing team of 10 office based team members, helping to deliver the very best in customer experience.

This exciting job involves the following tasks:
- Answering inbound calls and customer enquiries.
- Setting up customers online and maintaining their online ordering system.
- Provide support to set up large accounts, Workpack Express client set up, logo setup, data entry (staff lists), Pipe Drive.
- Keeping in contact with Key Accounts and doing monthly outbound calls to main contacts or order placers to see how they are tracking.
- Dealing with any questions, quotes or customer complaints through main sales Inbox in a timely manner
- Day to day management of key accounts, updating special pricing, sorting website enquiries etc.
- Recording sales trends of key accounts and working with account managers to develop sales strategies.
- Creating and processing orders in a timely manner, processing requests for urgent orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems.
- Back up support for senior account managers

To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes:
- Loyal, honest, reliable and confidential
- Cheerful and have a sense of humour
- Have good communication skills
- Proficient in using a computer
- Be well organised and pay attention to detail
- Be a team player and able to work without supervision
- Be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday
- Start date ASAP or of February 2025
