At AHV we do everything we can to keep animals healthy and provide extra support during periods of recovery. In order to ensure that our practices and products reflect this as closely as possible, we want to continuously improve our products with the latest insights.

At AHV we have our own laboratory: the 𝐐𝐒𝐁-𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫. Within the Research Center our scientists work in a multidisciplinary context on product development and product quality. The center consists of three main labs: The Microbiological lab, Cell Culture Lab and the Chemical Analytical Lab.

𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦: 𝗨𝗗𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗟𝗬 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗗

A high success rate, consistent milk quality values and higher milk yields were observed on over 800 dairy farms in the Netherlands and Belgium. The AHV HT analysis supports dairy farmers in optimizing udder health on an individual cow level, with results.

AHV NZ also provides AHV udder health analysis and recommendations from HTs, free of charge, for farmers who give access to their MINDA account. Results are encouraging!

’𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗸 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿’
Paulien, Willem and their son Jeroen Breunisse milk 365 mixed-breedcows on their Sheffield farm. They embraced our concept when they encountered it. The farm started using AHV's Udder Health products.

We showed the Breunisse family the results of the proactive Fertility Protocol from a demonstration trial in the North Island, Jeroen was interested: ‘Fertility is one of our main priorities and the results that were shared looked exciting, we wanted to give it a go’.

When asked what they observed in their cows, Willem starts: ’First and most of all we just saw no problems with the cows, which is great’. Jeroen builds:’ The cows came into their milk faster and better’. We had very few cows with metabolic challenges or uterine health challenges and our SCC is 13% down from last year. We know that improved udder health also contributes to improved fertility, so we continue to work on improving udder health using the AHV udder health boluses.’

Ian & Carmen Comins (Kihikihi) milk 80 cows using robots. They set up a goal to decrease the overall bulk SCC. They researched companies to work with and found AHV International. They are seeing huge benefits. The data of the milk robots helps to identify those cows that show the first indication of bacterial infiltrations and have been monitoring the progress of the cows administered with the AHV products.
