💜 Motivational Monday 💜

How do you recharge your batteries? 🌿
Taking time to rest and restore is just as important as the mahi we do every day. Whether it’s going for a walk, spending time with friends, or creating a calming space — small steps can make a big difference.

✨ Big shout out to Self-Love Rainbow for this beautiful graphic and reminder 🙌

| Kiingi Tūheitia has died, aged 69, just days after celebrating the 18th anniversary of his coronation.

“The death of Kiingi Tūheitia is a moment of great sadness for followers of Te Kiingitanga, Māoridom and the entire nation.” 👇

Good Bi***es Baking (GBB) partnered with Volunteering Waikato in February this year and since then have matched 39 “Good Bitch” volunteers as Bakers or Drivers.🧁🚗🙌

A hugely diverse range of volunteers clearly want to share their love of baking with their community! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Volunteering Waikato recently acknowledged good bi***es bake for quickly responding to volunteers and creating flexible volunteer opportunities. GBB's goal of “Baking the world a kinder place” is super aspirational and gets one step closer with every volunteer who puts their hand up to help! ✋

Pictured is Chris Atkinson from Volunteering Waikato presenting Nat, from GBB, with a certificate of recognition for all her and GBB's awesome work. 👏

If you're looking to share your love of baking with your community, consider volunteering at Good Bi***es Baking. 🍪🍰

Does this look like something you and your family and/or friends would love to do? Join the Rotarians and "run the runway" here at Hamilton Airport on Sunday the 12th of March - that's like, next weekend!

It's a unique opportunity to get out onto our runway and see things from a whole different perspective - it's early (6.45am) as we need everyone back off the runway before our first flight of the day - so you'll still have most of Sunday to relax. And it's for an excellent cause (Orange Sky New Zealand - who provide laundry and shower services for people in need).

If you're keen to have a go, pop on over to www.runtherunway.org and register. It could well be the most fun thing you do this year!

And don't forget, we have Propeller Airport Cafe upstairs for coffee and breakfast afterwards, or if you'd like something a bit more hearty, you can head across the way to Propeller Restaurant & Bar for a discounted buffet breakfast.

See you there!
