It's very disconcerting feeling that I need to apologize for the way I choose to run my business, but once again I can't stress enough that I/we have zero aspiration to be a huge company or travel for work outside our region.
I only ever wanted to be one man with a digger, but over the years we have built a reputation on doing the best job for the best price with no bu****it, no drama, no variation costs and overall simplicity and the demand for our niche has grown.
I don't have a dozen office staff putting out fires, just myself and a few good people ensuring the fires don't start in the first place.
We don't want every job, we don't need every client, we just want to do a great job for good people and all go home to our own beds happy each day.
We price every job with honesty, knowledge and ability, we try our best to work to job time-lines, but I'm not interested in hiring more staff or expanding capacity. If we can't get there we can't get there unfortunately.
We work our arses off and deserve a life outside of work and as I get older and staff members have young children that's more important to us than earning money and just working our way to the grave.
Cheers to our great clients and all the jobs we've done, and thanks to those who appreciate it and understand.
