A before and after photo of our special Bitumen based Aviation coating, specifically designed for rejuvenation of aged bitumen runways.
This shows a1.8 km x 30m size airport runway somewhere in the South Pacific that has just this month, had a full rejuvenation treatment applied in a joint venture operation with our Australian partners. This will provide a protective layer to the existing surface while still preserving the existing runway texture for many years into the future. When timely applied as a preventative treatment, this process is a considerably more cost effective treatment than full replacement.

Sealcoating in suburban cul-de-sac heads is a really economical way to preserve these areas as they only are ever subject to high stress turning traffic. In particular if it is driven on by the waste collection trucks and rhe surface has been previously chip sealed.... we know what sort of mess that leaves in summer. Lose chip, bleeding seal and black sticky stuff everywhere...
Put our starseal 2 layer sealcoat bitumen surface finish over it all and you cure all that and have he next best thing to a smooth hotmix finish without the usual big costs involved , inconvenience of the usual traffic management delays and best if all there is no more loose chip everywhere . It's a win-win for all.

Imagine being able to do a reseal faster, at a similar cost for binder but without the need to include that nuisance chip... Think.... No more need for chip trucks, rollers, hugely less sweeping, less traffic control, no more complaints from the public about stone damage, and best of all the added bonus of a reduced carbon footprint. It is now here and available being done in the Waikato. Public comments after the work was completed varied from " road looks amazing" ... "its quieter to drive on"... " the grip seems slightly better!! ".... And to " you guys forgot the chip but we" re so glad!! "
