Kua eke ki te rua o ngā tau mai i te pō i moe ai ngā konohi o Kīngi Tūheitia. 16 katoa ana toronga mai ki a Ngāti Kahungunu mai i te whakatūnga ōna hai Kīngi, ā, moe noa. Anei ētahi whakaahua o ana toronga mai ki konei. Ka maharatia koe i tēnei rā, e te Kīngi. Moe mai rā, i te marire o te pō.

Today we remember the 2-year memorial of Kīngi Tūheitia's passing and the many occasions on which he visited Ngāti Kahungunu. From celebrations and kaupapa to some of the hardest moments our communities have faced, Kīngi Tūheitia always stood alongside Kahungunu. There were 16 visits here during his 18-year reign. Here are some pictures of his last 8 visits to Ngāti Kahungunu.

Ka noho maumahara tonu mātau ki a koe, e rangi.
