That’s us finished for 2025

A MASSIVE thanks to all our amazing volunteers who gift their time to help our community. This photo unfortunately does not have all those that join us as there are many more incredible helpers. None of this would be possible without them. Thank you!!!

We will be back on the 8th of February 2026

Thanks to the Hastings Bridge Club for allowing us to hire your great space
And thanks to Hastings District Council and their Waste minimisation Fund which helped us get off the ground.

See you next year!!!

Exciting stuff!!!

TODAY, Wednesday 19 February, is the day of the First Reading of the Consumer Guarantees (Right to Repair) Amendment Bill. To proceed to the Select Committee stage for discussion of practical solutions, the Bill requires a majority vote in Parliament.

The reading has been rescheduled for approximately 8pm-9pm. It will be livestreamed online and on Parliament TV, so you can see the debate and the vote there https://videos.parliament.nz/

You can still email your local MP, or send a quick email to Hon Andrew Bayly (the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs) here: [email protected]
Tell them to support the RIGHT TO REPAIR! Thanks to all the awesome crew working on this issue!
