Did you catch our friend Cameron Douglas MS last weekend chatting about our Gimblett Gravels Marsanne Roussanne 2024 on Newstalk ZB with Jack Tame?

In case you missed it, he described the wine as “both fresh...very fragrant, and it’s got these inviting and sort of salivating scents and flavours of quince and citrus.... and this lovely layer of fruit spice.”

Made from two Rhône Valley varieties, Marsanne and Roussanne, this wine continues to prove why these unique varietals offer such an interesting and rewarding alternative to the usual go-to’s.

His food match? Shellfish with a creamy sauce, or a beautifully rolled chicken ballotine. But ours? Preferably another glass.

A sentiment that sure feels close to home. To the women at Trinity Hill who show up every day with that same quiet strength - in the winery, the office, at home and everywhere in between, we see you wonderful women!

Setting the table this Mother's Day? Here's a thought.

Serve up her favourite dish alongside a glass of our Gimblett Gravels Syrah (we've got food pairing inspiration on the website if you need it), then finish with a glass of Homage.

She'll notice the effort. She always does.

The beauty of autumn never really gets old.

Lucky for us, the Bay has been the place to be these past couple of months, with lingering summer-like days and hues of red and gold draped across the vineyards. Sadly, we can feel those crisp mornings creeping in now, and the autumn colours slowly fading as the last of the leaves begin to fall.

But the best part of the change of seasons for us? Cozying up by the fire, something low and slow on the stove, and a cracker red in hand.

Speaking of… our Gimblett Gravels reds are right at home this time of year. Whichever you reach for, you’re in good hands… 🍷😉

For Mum, only the best.

This Mother’s Day, go with something a little more considered.

Our Single Vineyard 125 Gimblett Chardonnay 2024 comes from one of the standout sites in the Gimblett Gravels during one outstanding vintage.

Hand-harvested and matured in French oak, this is a Chardonnay of depth and refinement. Layers of white peach, citrus blossom and roasted nut unfold into a rich, textural palate, balanced by fine acidity and a long, savoury finish.

A beautiful match for a long lunch, or simply a quiet moment shared with mum.

This week marks your last chance to join us for lunch with Chef Kent Baddeley.

As the season winds down, so too does the food truck, with its final menu running through to Sunday before we close it up for the cooler months.

It’s been a privilege to have Kent with us over the summer, bringing his time, creativity and undeniably delicious dishes. For those who made it along, you’ll know just how good it’s been. And if not, there’s still a few days left to change that...

Bookings recommended, walk-ins always welcome. See you at lunch.

The season might be shifting, and the temperatures might be dropping, but we’re sure in no hurry to go back into hibernation.

Pour something that brings back the warm fuzzy feeling of summer, and hold onto that rush a little longer.

Our Hawke’s Bay Rosé is here for a good time, not a long time, so secure yours while stock lasts.

And with that, the 2026 Trinity Hill harvest comes to an end...

We marked the final pick with something a little special, welcoming back a few familiar faces from the Trinity Hill archives to join us in harvesting the Homage block, before finishing the day with a long lunch on the lawn. A fitting way to wrap another vintage in the Gimblett Gravels, and for some, a true full-circle moment as we closed out our 30th harvest.

As always, huge credit to our winery and viticulture teams who have put in some serious hard yards, with the fruits of this year’s labour now quietly doing their thing in tank and barrel.

It sure was a memorable way to finish off one hell of a vintage, and if this season is anything to go by, we think it’s safe to say good things are coming..👀

Big thanks to .brim for capturing this day.
