As we celebrate 29 years of HSM, we’re looking back at how our monitoring room has grown. From two operators sharing a cosy space to the centre we work from today, each chapter has been made possible by our people and the clients who have trusted us along the way.

To our monitoring team, past and present, thank you for looking out for others at every hour of the day and night.

This World Animal Day, we’re thinking about the pets waiting for us at home. They can’t call for help if something goes wrong, but a 24/7 monitored smoke alarm can alert our team from the first signs of smoke.

And speaking of pets at home, meet the furry (and feathered!) members of the HSM family!

This October marks 29 years of HSM!

As we celebrate our birthday, we want to say thank you to the clients who have trusted us over the years and to the people who make HSM what it is today.

We’ll be sharing a few memories throughout the month and celebrating the team, clients and community who have been part of our story. Thank you for being part of it.

Proud to be backing the Bay!

HSM has proudly supported the Hawkes Bay Magpies since 2019, and we’re stoked to be continuing our support this season. Pictured are the ball kids sporting their brand-new HSM jackets at the first home game a couple of weeks back.

The Magpies are top of the table after three from three and are back at McLean Park this Friday to take on the Manawatū Turbos.

With game attendance up 79% across the opening rounds, join the crowds, knock off work and get down to McLean Park to support the boys! Kick-off is 7:10pm.

Come on the Bay!

What are the real benefits of proactive CCTV monitoring?

It's not just about the technology. It's about having real people watching, recognising when something isn't right, and making critical decisions when it matters most.
