It's that time of the year again - beautiful nashi's are ripe and ready to be eaten!

What is going at Foodstuffs stores ? are they supposed to be NZ owned or what? Our local store has Chinese Nashi mixed up with NZ nashi and the Chinese fruit are quite different, pretty to look at but low colour, no flavour and picked last September, NZ grown Nashi picked last week, full of flavor and supporting local business. Just try this one.... salmon with nashi. NZ of course.
