I was honoured to receive a certificate from Invercargill Libraries this week, thanking me for my voluntary employment support over the month of October.

Each week, I had the privilege of spending an hour with some incredibly enthusiastic and talented individuals—helping them build confidence, refine their job search skills, and take the next step toward employment.

It was a pleasure to be part of such a supportive and community-focused initiative. A big thank-you to Invercargill Libraries for the opportunity! 💼✨

🌍✈️ Apologies for being a little quiet on here lately — I’ve just returned from an incredible month in Europe! I was lucky enough to spend quality time with family back in Wales and squeeze in a bit of travel while we were there too. 🏰🍷✨

Back in Aotearoa now and straight into it! Last week I had the pleasure of supporting the ILT Foundation with their GM role — always rewarding to work with such a community-focused organisation.

This week, I’m diving into more recruitment mahi, CVs and cover letters, and helping fill a key role for a Southland motel. Keeping busy is definitely helping to shake off those holiday blues!

🌟 Burt Munro Week – A Special Time for Reflection & New Beginnings 🌟

This week, as we celebrate Burt Munro Week here in Invercargill, I can’t help but reflect on how much this event means to me. It was Burt Munro Challenge that brought me to this wonderful city just over 14 years ago — and little did I know, it would lead me to meet my husband and build a life in a place I now call home. 💖

Fast forward to this Saturday, my husband and our two kids will be racing at the Speedway. It’s moments like these that remind me how unpredictable life can be. Sometimes, you just have to take a risk, embrace the unknown, and trust that things will work out.

In a similar way, this week I’ve had the privilege of helping 7 clients take that first step toward a new chapter with carefully crafted CVs and Cover Letters. I’m hopeful that this will be the gateway to incredible new opportunities for them, just like my own journey to Invercargill. 🌱

Here’s to embracing change, chasing our dreams, and trusting that the next corner holds something amazing! 💪
