A huge thank you to Rachel and Murray from Jackson Bay Charters for trusting us with this build and for hosting such a memorable day on the water. What started as a sea trial and boat review with Carla and Doug from Pacific Powerboat Magazine turned into an incredible West Coast experience—fishing, wildlife encounters, hauling craypots, and even enjoying a fresh catch cooked on the BBQ.

A little tribute to a true Kiwi treasure, Dame Jools Topp of the Topp Twins, whose passing this week has touched so many hearts across New Zealand.

As a boat building family and lovers of the sea, this poem written by Jools & Lynda in 2014 felt especially meaningful to share.

May heaven hear your wonderful songs and laughter.

Dean passing through Oamaru this morning with “Minor Variation” in tow.

Tyne Street & the Victorian Precinct never disappoint - those beautiful Oamaru stone buildings, many dating back to the 1870s and 1880s, are something pretty special.

After an amazing few days in Auckland showcasing our boats at the Hutchwilco NZ Boat Show - and a special trip ‘across the ditch’ to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show - Dean has just boarded the ferry for the next leg of the journey home to Invercargill, towing “Minor Variation”, the latest 8.25m Fishmaster.

The Sanctuary Cove part of the trip was made even more special by taking one of our Tradesmen, Callum, along as a thank you for 10 years of loyalty, dedication and hard work with Image Boats - a pretty special milestone.

But now it’s time to head for home, so if you see Dean heading south over the next couple of days, give him a friendly toot and a wave to help the journey go a little faster.
