🚨 SOLD! Our brand-new 8.5m Fishmaster has found her new home! 🚨

Three days home from the Outdoor Expo and we’ve got some very exciting news…

Our 8.5m Fishmaster “The Demonstrator”, powered by twin Suzuki Marine NZ 200hp outboards, has officially been sold! 🎉

Fresh out of the shed and completed just in time for the Outdoor Expo, this boat was only days old when she hit the show — so we’re absolutely thrilled to see her heading into the next chapter with her new owners.

And the best part? They’ve kindly allowed us to keep her as the Image Boats Demonstrator, so you’ll still have the opportunity to see this impressive Fishmaster up close. 🙌

A huge congratulations to our very excited new owners! We’re incredibly proud to have built this boat for you and wish you many years of blue skies, tight lines and unforgettable adventures with your family and grandchildren ❤️

She’ll soon be based in Tairua, in the Coromandel, where we’re sure she’ll be right at home. 🌊☀️🎣

What an incredible first day at the Christchurch Outdoor Expo! 🔥

We’re proud to be showcasing this custom designed & built Image 8.25m Fishmaster “Minor Variation”.

Packed with serious fishing capability, comfort, and custom features, this build will be turning heads all day long. From the extended wheelhouse and massive 700L fuel capacity to the FLIR thermal camera, Simrad electronics package, tuna tubes, lithium setup, outriggers, Minn Kota, and premium finishes throughout — this Fishmaster is built to do it all.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to check her out yesterday, talk boats and support NZ-made craftsmanship.

We’re looking forward to doing it all again today. If you’re heading to the Outdoor Expo, come and see us in the boating area and take a closer look at what this incredible build has to offer.

Day One at the Outdoor Expo Christchurch — what a day!

Today we had the pleasure of showcasing our 2026 Demonstrator 8.5 m Fishmaster, powered by twin 200 hp Suzuki Marine NZ outboards, for the very first time.

It’s been fantastic seeing people come through, checking out the boat up close, asking questions and having a chat with the Image Boats team.

Also on display is “Minor Variation” — an impressive 8.25m Fishmaster with a 2.8m beam.

Packed with serious fishing capability, comfort and custom features, this build has been turning heads all day. From the extended wheelhouse and massive 700L fuel capacity, to the FLIR thermal camera, Simrad electronics package, tuna tubes, lithium setup, outriggers, Minn Kota and premium finishes throughout — this Fishmaster has been built to do it all.

Something NEW is taking shape at Image Boats!

We’re excited to announce that we’re adding a new model to the Image Boats range — the 7.75m Fishmaster, featuring forward-facing windows as a key part of the new design.

It’s something our customers have been asking us for in our custom-designed and built boats for some time, and after plenty of thought, we’ve decided it’s time to bring this option into a new model of our own.

With a 2.7m beam, the new Fishmaster has been designed with the same focus on practicality, strength and functionality that goes into every Image Boat, while bringing a fresh look and a new direction to the range.

These are the early drawings, but we’re pretty excited about where this one is heading. 👀

The 7.75m Fishmaster is on its way — watch this space!

How exciting! What an incredible experience for guests - a private flight to the remote West Coast of NZ followed by a full day of fishing aboard "OKAHU".

We are so proud to have built this beautiful boat, an Image 10m Cruisemaster, for Jackson Bay Charters and love seeing her out there doing what she was made for. An amazing collaboration with Glenorchy Air!
