✨"Whakawhanaungatanga (noun): the process of establishing relationships.✨

What a fantastic few days attending Te Hui Taketake a Te Puna Tahua Toa with our BDO whanau from all over New Zealand and our Indigenous brothers and sisters from Canada, the USA, and Australia, learning from each other's experiences and sharing our knowledge and culture in the hope of improving the lives of our Indigenous peoples.

Nga mihi nunui ki for pulling this event together. We look forward to attending the Hui a Tau next year and the Hui Taketake in Seattle in 2027.

Such a beautiful morning as our team attended te whakatuwheratanga of 4 new kaumātua/kuia flats for Te Tāpui Marae. This is the first of many, with 17 Marae throughout Te Tai Tokerau receiving 55 cabins from this kaupapa.

Ngā mihi nunui ki te Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for funding this and the numerous contractors, suppliers and builders that helped make this kaupapa possible.

BDO Pakihi is proud to have led this out and look forward to more early mornings like this.
