CELLARBRATION AT OUR CELLAR DOOR - LABOUR WEEKEND

Once again at Ake Ake Vineyard it's time for our annual Cellar Door CELLARBRATION

As spring is in the air, we will be popping the corks on our Sparkling Rosé for you to taste, along with the rest of our
Ake Ake wine range ... that's 20 different wines open for tasting!

We will be open everyday throughout Labour weekend including Monday. So if your heading north for the weekend or have friends and family visiting, drop by and try out our wines.

Our vineyard trail will be open and we have some new release organic whites from the fantastic 2020 vintage just in time for some summer chilling.

21 - 27 SEPTEMBER IS NZ ORGANIC WINE WEEK

At Ake Ake Vineyard we thought we would celebrate by offering a “Vineyard Walk” with John the viticulturist, wine maker and owner at 2pm on Tuesday 22 September , Thursday 24 September and Saturday 26 September.

John will talk about organic grape growing and winemaking followed by a wine tasting of our organic wines at the cellar door. The Vineyard Walk and tasting will have a $12 charge per person but is refunded with the purchase of your first bottle of wine. i.e. free with wine purchase from the cellar door.

If you can make the Vineyard Walk the Cellar Door we will have all our organic wines open for tastings as well as at least a dozen of our non organic wines and the Restaurant will have all our organic wines available by the glass so you will be able to taste & enjoy a selection of our wines along with your meal.
