Possums & Stoats - They're not always as easy to catch as you would think! 🐾

Did you know we also do possum and stoat control here at Pestworx? We use the highly effective NZ Auto Traps AT220 & AT230. In the photo below, you can see our Owner/Director, Andrew, installing one for a loyal customer! 📸

If you haven't seen these traps in action, they are absolute game-changers for pest control. Because keeping our furry family members safe is just as important as clearing out the pests, we use two specific models tailored to your property:

🐈 AT230 Pet-Safe Trap: Perfect for open or high-traffic areas where your cats or dogs might roam. It features a brilliant built-in microchip reader that completely prevents accidental triggers, ensuring your pets stay safe.

🌲 AT220 Standard Trap: Our baseline automated model- ideal for general boundary control and lower-risk areas where non-target animals aren't a concern.

While the boys are out on the field laying down big hits and defending the try line, the Pestworx crew is on standby to tackle the unwanted invaders trying to set up camp in your home.

In early spring before worker wasps hatch, almost every single flying wasp we spot is a queen coming out of hibernation. 🐝

Our techs have been spotting queens scouting dry, sheltered spots around Northland: under eaves, on exterior walls, inside sheds, and around timber decking. 🏠☀️
Right now, she's working alone. Stopping just one wasp queen in spring eliminates a potential nest of thousands before summer starts.

Before the queen recruits her full royal army, now is the best window to get on top of any early pests. 👑⚡️
