Spearo Camp is a freediving and spearfishing retreat located in Kuaotunu on the Coromandel Peninsula. Julian has been a freediver and a spear fisherman for 20 years. Diving has taken Julian all over the world spearfishing competitively at the highest level also working as a construction diver, abalone diver and tuna wrangler. e to improve your skills as a diver or just go out to spear some fish. Having been in so many different situations in the water Julian has plenty first hand experience in the dangers that can be involved with freediving and spearfishing, he wants to ensure he provides the best safest service possible to ensure all divers who pass through Spearo Camp leave with a better understanding of the sea, some new skills and a feed of fish!!
