Hi 👋 there. S'Me Kate. So in the spirit of a new decade (I know, I know, it's February, but January doesn't have the statute of limitations on perspective) I wanted to share with you the top ten things I have learnt. 2020 has provided me with some intense clarity from the haystack that was 2019....⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Logic is super helpful but it doesn't always provide the best directive for a fulfilled existence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. You will never regret ordering the bigger 🍕 Pizza.
3. Make your decisions consciously, take responsibility for the consequences. Repeat.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. If you build it they will come. So you'd better be ready and have damn good catering.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Source the bespoke and hand made - in a world full of mass consumerism these treasures are to be sought after and cherished.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. It is never ever too late to reinvent, to chart a new course, to learn new skills, to change your mind, to swap horses.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
7. Feel free to give me Peonies, Ranunculus or Magnolias and I will be forever devoted to you. Give me Gerberas and you will never hear from me again.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
8. Sometimes I've learnt that the big moment is actually the moment before the big moment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
9. Thou shall not take short cuts, be lazy or create sloppy work for your customers. People who pay, pay attention. ⠀
10. Skills can always be taught. Strength of Character you either have or you don't have.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Would love to know if these resonate with you too.. What should be number 11 for this year? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
