We have loved watching the momentum build behind BNI Horowhenua over the past few months, and I'd love for more local business owners to be part of it.

Our next Founding Members Coffee Catch-Up is this Thursday, and I'm on the lookout for business owners keen to get in on the ground floor of a brand new referral network, built right here in the Horowhenua.

What a night. 💫

Our BNI Horowhenua Pre-Launch Meeting at Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō was everything we hoped it would be - and then some.

The moment that stayed with us? Two local electricians - two businesses that would normally go head-to-head for the same jobs - both in the room, both choosing to see the bigger picture. Not just for themselves, but for Horowhenua.

That is co-opetition in action. Competitors who understand that a stronger regional economy lifts everyone - more work, more referrals, more growth to go around. When the region wins, we all win.

That is the heart of what we are building here. Givers Gain® isn't a slogan, it's how the most successful business owners operate.

And here is what really tells the story: we are only two meetings in, and the referrals are already flowing and real relationships are taking shape. The energy in that room was electric - you could feel the appetite for something special. What an evening. 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the BNI Horowhenua Discovery Evening on Wednesday at Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō. The turnout was genuinely incredible, and from the moment doors opened, the energy in the room told us everything we needed to know - there is a real appetite for a strong, structured business community right here in the Horowhenua.

To our speakers Monique Bradley, Tony Shalders, Andrew Reid (Chief Executive, The Horowhenua Company Ltd), Steve Hockley and Marc Hamilton - thank you for setting the bar so high and for showing this region exactly what is coming.
