The Condor story

Condor began in 1983 in the spare parts department of Cashmore Machinery. Product lines included hydraulic hose and fittings, spraying equipment and pressure washers. In 2003 Condor Pumps moved to a larger warehouse at Petone in Wellington, New Zealand

Condor products are distributed exclusively by Condor Pumps. Condor Pumps is now an international provider of a wide range of pumps and fluid power equipment. Today Condor Pumps is a Jadco Ltd company.

When the job calls for it, we bring the kit! 💪

Here are some more shots from the stream bypass operation at Cannons Creek Park in Porirua, where the team has been working alongside JFC to keep things flowing - literally.

To divert 60 metres of live stream while the stormwater inlet gets replaced, we put together a pump setup that could handle whatever the site threw at us, including 3x 6" pumps and an 8" pump.

Getting the equipment right is everything on a job like this. The right setup means the site stays dry, the environment stays protected, and JFC's crew can get on with the work safely underground.

Proud to be part of one of New Zealand's biggest renewable energy projects! 🌞

The Kōwhai Park Solar Farm beside Christchurch Airport will have 300,000 solar panels generating enough power for around 36,000 Kiwi homes - and Condor has supplied TH Civil with an AquaPath™ Water Cart and Dust Shield dust suppression chemicals to keep things running smoothly.

We're excited to be part of something big here in the Hutt Valley!

Condor is delivering dewatering and water treatment at the early stages of Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (formerly RiverLink), working alongside Brian Perry Civil to produce crystal clear, fully compliant water being discharged safely back into the Te Awa Kairangi / Hutt River.

Did you know Condor is currently supporting Corde across three waterway improvement projects in Canterbury?

Corde is delivering some fantastic ecological upgrades for Selwyn District Council and Christchurch City Council, and we're proud to be part of the team on all three!

📍 Ryelands Pond, Lincoln: Weir replacement, fish passage improvement, and stream bank remediation. With silt present on site, Condor supplied our Water Treatment System to ensure sediment-laden water is properly treated before any discharge, keeping the waterway healthy throughout construction.

📍 Styx Drain, Casebrook: A major naturalisation project removing old timber lining, reshaping the channel, and creating habitat with native planting and rock features. Condor's pumps are supporting the crew on the ground.

📍 Greens Stream, Halswell: Stream bank restoration, native planting, new walking paths, and two brand new pedestrian footbridges. Condor pumps on site here, too!

It's fantastic to be working alongside Corde who bring real care for the environment to everything they do.

Another great project underway in Christchurch!

The client came to us needing a 6-inch dewatering pump and a 6-inch bypass pump, as well as a water treatment unit on standby in case silt became an issue - along with all the hoses and fittings needed to get everything running seamlessly.

Once on site, it was identified that wellpointing gear was also required. We were able to step in quickly with our complete wellpointing package - spears, header pipe, and swing arms.
