Producing a range of solutions, short runs and utilizing robotics the Production environment is both agile and highly effective in meeting customers very specific requirements.

With Factories in both NZ and Samoa!

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and proactive Production Assistant in our clients factory in Vaitele, Samoa.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for:

Manage the Factory Operations, ensuring the cost efficient and timely supply of products are achieved on a day to day basis
Shape functional strategy and policy to meet the needs of the business unit whilst simultaneously meeting the requirements of the central function and the company plan
Quality assurance
Analysis of performance, efficiency and productivity and production reporting
Management and improvement of processes and systems
Working with Engineering and Scheduling to ensure production KPIs are met
Drive desired improvements and profit growth for the business
Managing production team

Proving yourself in this challenging but rewarding role could lead to excellent career growth opportunities.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

a relevant tertiary qualification preferred but not required if the candidate has strong work experience
a background in manufacturing/production
proven track record in managing, engaging and motivating a team
excellent communication skills and a strong sense of cultural awareness
strong decision making skills and a results driven approach
working knowledge of HR systems and processes
experience in wiring/electronics an advantage but not a necessity

This is a key role in Fero and is best suited to someone who is ready to share the passion of the organisation and take this opportunity to grow and develop with the Company.

Please note this role is based in Samoa
