I had a great catch up with Katrina McClelland, Sales & Marketing Manager at Farm Focus . 🥳 Farm Focus is financial management software for farmers that was developed right here in Wairarapa.

Farm Focus, previously known as Computer Concepts and then CRS Software, has been supporting the farming 🐂 community for 40 years. It was started back in 1981 by three farmers, who wanted a better way to make information-based forecasting and financial planning decisions. 💥

Current CEO, Brian Eccles, has been involved with the company since the early days and has seen huge leaps and bounds in technology. As a former farmer, he is passionate about developing specialised software that meets the specific needs of farmers. 💝 He is proud of the great team he has around him and understands that it’s the people who make the business! 👍

Farm Focus software allows farmers to look ahead and model different scenarios, ensuring informed planning for their success. 😎

The company’s latest application is cloud based, which means it can deliver time- and labour-saving benefits ⭐️ and provides farmers with access to all their information from anywhere!

Farm Focus won ‘Cyber Gold’ for the technology behind Farm Focus at the 2021 Wellington Gold Awards. 🎉With over 10,000 customers across the sheep, beef and dairy industries they are obviously doing something right!

I just had fantastic catch up with the wonderful Munish Sippy from Koi Masterton - Spice, Craft & Whisky. 🤩 Koi is the place to go for modern Indian – Malaysian fusion cuisine, with a wide range of craft beers and a Whisky lounge! They also have a wall of Whisky Lockers that are hugely popular and looks fantastic! 😎

Munish and the team at Koi love what they do! They enjoy catching up with the regulars and meeting new people who come through the door. 💖 They aim to create a bond with each customer so that they become friends, rather than customers!

The lockdowns have been hard on hospitality however Munish was telling me that the local community have been amazing!! ⭐️ Munish and the team at Koi are extremely thankful for all the support they have received throughout this time!

It was a struggle when level 2 had a limit of 50 people, 2 metres apart however they got through! Now that there is a limit of 100 this has become a bit easier. Munish is looking forward to summer and hopes to see a return to some semblance of normal soon (him and me both)! ☀️

Munish & Sunny (Munish’s business partner) were looking for a great place to open Koi! They looked at locations around the north Island and ended up in Masterton. 🥳 Luckily for all of us they fell in love with the whole Wairarapa region! They loved the vibe and decided this was the place! That was 3 years ago!!

Munish is proud of his team and the way they all love what they do! 💥 Munish is very thankful to all the local businesses and people who helped them make their vision of Koi Masterton a reality.

Customers are always the main focus for the team at Koi! They want every person to have an amazing experience! They love it when people leave saying they can’t wait to come back! 👍Munish and the team at Koi are like one big happy family, always so welcoming! Love it! 💝
