Great news for Dairy farmers, or at least hope for many.

"Fonterra has increased its 2016-17 forecast farmgate milk price by 50 cents to $4.75 /kg milksolids.

When combined with the forecast earnings a share range for the 2017 financial year of 50 to 60 cents, the total payout available to farmers this season is forecast to be $5.25 to $5.35 before retentions."

Some maps are just maps, others are art. This is the base image for one of our client's maps in Kairakau, Hawkes Bay. The original is hundreds of megabytes in size, & clear enough to make out livestock.

Taken on the 7th of September 2015, we usually have imagery as recent as three months behind the current date, however farmers love green imagery the most, & HB is currently rather dry.

Can you guess where this is?

We'll give a free 100pg A3 pad of your mapping to the first of our South Island clients who correctly guesses the location.

This image was spliced together & colour-corrected for one of our clients in NZ. It was made from four separate satellite images taken in 2016 & 2015, all from different times of year & day, clouds (mostly) removed, & will now be printed on a 75cm x 200cm weatherproof banner which can be used like a whiteboard.
