Bowling, drinks in the sun and a very good cake.

A big thank you to the families behind our team. You’re a big part of how we keep showing up for our customers year after year.

We also marked five years with Sarah, our Finance & Administration Manager. Thanks for everything you do, Sarah 💐

Lovely words from the Electrify Hawke's Bay team after the expo. Backing community-led events like this is exactly why we do what we do. Here's to more Hawke's Bay sunshine at work.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stall at the Electrify Hawke's Bay Expo on Saturday.

It was great to chat with so many Hawke's Bay locals about solar, batteries, and what a setup could look like for their property.

If you didn't make it along, or you're ready for the next step, get in touch to book a free property visit.

Good news for anyone with a Powerwall 2.

A recent Tesla software update means you can now add a Powerwall 3 to your existing setup without replacing the hardware you already own. So if your energy use has grown, an EV in the driveway, a heat pump, a pool, more people at home, more machinery on site, you can build on what you've got.

The benefits speak for themselves. More solar stored for later, longer backup during a power cut, and room to grow as your energy needs change.

If you've got a Powerwall 2 in Hawke's Bay and you're thinking about expanding, book a free, no-obligation site visit. We'll take a look at your current system and talk through what makes sense.

¡Felices Fiestas Patrias! 🇨🇱

Empanadas all round at the office this morning, thanks to Jorge, our Chilean solar technical manager, marking Chile's Independence Day.

18 September is a big date back home, and we're lucky to celebrate it here in the Bay with Jorge and the team.

Happy Independence Day, Jorge. Mucho fiesta, amigo.

Big news for anyone weighing up battery storage.

The Tesla Powerwall 3P is nearly here, and our team is ready to go the moment it lands. Last week we hosted the Tesla NZ/AUS technical team at our Waiohiki office for in-house installer and technical training.

As a Certified Tesla Installation Partner, we stay across the latest products and tech in the industry, and the Powerwall 3 is the one plenty of you have been asking about. It's a 3-phase solar and energy storage solution, coming soon to NZ.

Want to be one of the first in the country with a Powerwall 3P installed? Book a free, no-obligation site assessment and we'll talk through what suits your property.

It was a pleasure to recently hand over this 180kW solar + 72kWh battery system to Hawkes Bay Eggs in Hastings.

This forward-thinking poultry farm is now running on the sun, with backup to keep operating during a power cut. The system will pay for itself in under seven years and cuts 28 tonnes of CO2 annually.

System details:
> 360 x 505W TCL solar panels
> 110kW Sigenergy hybrid inverter + 50kW Sigenergy grid-tie
> 72kWh battery storage (6 x 12kWh units)

Designed and installed by the Freenergy in-house team. Big thanks to Laurie and the crew at HB Eggs for the opportunity.
